What to expect

In this special two-person experience, you and your partner will work side by side to create your own glass vessels, learning the fundamentals of glassblowing along the way. Guided by an expert artist, you’ll each shape molten glass into a unique form that reflects your personal style. It’s a fun and memorable way to bond and share a creative experience together!

What to bring

All tools, materials, and safety equipment will be provided.

Collecting your work

As hot glass requires a 24-hour annealing process for controlled cooling, please remember to add postage if you are unable to return to collect your glass vessels. Alternatively, your pieces will be ready for pickup starting the Wednesday following the workshop. Our opening hours are Wednesday to Sunday, from 10am to 4pm.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your experience starts to register at the Canberra Glassworks shop.

Collecting your work 

If you didn’t request postage, your finished pieces will be ready to collect seven days after your class. You can pick them up at the Canberra Glassworks shop during our opening hours, from Wednesday to Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm.
