The Uluru By Segway - Self Drive tour is the perfect choice for independent travellers and families who want to experience the full scale of Uluru. If you have your own transport and a sense of adventure, this 2.5-hour experience is the most exciting and efficient way to circumnavigate around the entire 10-kilometre base of Uluru.
While walking the full base trail can take several hours in the desert heat, our Segway tour allows you to cover the distance effortlessly. After a quick personalised training session to ensure everyone feels confident and steady on their Segway, you’ll set off with your knowledgeable guide to circumnavigate the entire rock. You’ll see every side of Uluru—from the famous sheer faces to the hidden ripples and textures that most visitors never get close enough to see.
This tour turns a traditional sightseeing trip into an adventure that keeps everyone fully engaged. Because it’s a shorter, 2.5-hour duration, it’s easy to fit into a busy day of exploring the National Park, giving you plenty of time to head off to your next destination or relax back at camp.
Even though it’s a shorter tour, it’s still packed with learning. Our professional, knowledgeable guides lead the group, stopping at key points to share the fascinating history, geology, and stories of the region. You’ll gain a much deeper understanding of the spiritual and natural significance of Uluru than you would by simply driving around it yourself.
This is the perfect way to combine a \"must-do\" bucket list item with a whole lot of fun.
