Trout weighing more than 4.5kg are common, whilst larger Trout weighing 10-13kg do get caught occasionally. The Canal Salmon weigh in between 1-4kg.

Child ticket is for ages 8-17 years. For safety reasons, we can't take any kids below 8 years old. Please note all child tickets have to be accompanied by at least one adult ticket.

Upon payment you agree to and accept our: Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cancellation Policy as outlined:\r\n\r\nOur fishing tours operate in a high-altitude alpine environment where the weather can change rapidly, and weather forecasts are often incorrect.\r\n\r\nOur fishing tours will operate in most weather conditions unless it is deemed by us to be unsafe to guests and/or our staff. If the tour is cancelled due to weather, you will be eligible for a full refund. Please ensure that you bring suitable clothing on your trip. This should include layers of warm clothing, a waterproof jacket, and enclosed footwear. \r\n\r\nIt is a legal requirement in New Zealand that all anglers MUST have a fishing license. We will organise this for you once your booking has been made. \r\n\r\nAll tickets include a $20 non-refundable license and admin fee. This fee covers your fishing license which we will purchase at the time of booking and the purchase of the necessary fishing equipment: lures, bait, hooks, etc, that we will have to order in advance.\r\n\r\nIt is very important to arrive on time for check-in (15 minutes before your departure time) If you do not check-in 15 mins before your tours scheduled departure time, you will be deemed a ‘no-show’ and you will not be eligible for a refund. Late arrivals will not be catered for, and you will not be allowed to join a later departure. We then reserve the right to on-sell your ticket/s. If you are running late for any reason, then please contact us ASAP.\r\n\r\nAll tours operated are non-drinking and non-smoking. We reserve the right to refuse those who present as intoxicated at the time of checking in. If you arrive intoxicated for check-in you will be turned away and will not be eligible for a refund.\r\n\r\nFailure to comply with the clothing recommendations may result in you being refused access to the tour and/or forfeiting the fares paid.\r\n\r\nMobility requirements must be advised at the time of booking. Special arrangements may be accommodated (where possible) if we have over 48 hours’ notice prior to the tour commencement time.\r\n\r\nThe advertised ticket price is for any age, however all children aged 15 or younger must be accompanied by a paying adult. An adult is anyone aged 16 or over.\r\n\r\n•\tPlease be aware that despite our guides best efforts to assist and teach you we are unable to guarantee that you will successfully catch a fish during the experience. This is the nature of fishing, and you will not be eligible for a refund.\r\n \r\n•\tWe do NOT have child seats in our van. Under New Zealand transport law if a safety restraint (seat belt) is available then they must be worn. It is the responsibility of the child’s responsible adult to ensure that the child is restrained appropriately.\r\n \r\n•\tIf you wish to follow us in your own vehicle to our fishing locations, then we MAY be able to accommodate this if we are given sufficient notice. \r\n\r\n•\tThe customer is liable to cover the cost for any damage to, or loss or equipment, accidental or otherwise.\r\n \r\nGift Vouchers are valid for 12 months and Prize Certificates are valid for 6 months; they are not redeemable for cash, are non-transferable and non-refundable.\r\n\r\nTour Cancellation Policy\r\n\r\nYou must cancel your booking at least 48 hours before the start of you tours to be eligible for a refund. \r\n\r\nAll tickets include a $20 non-refundable license and admin fee.
