{"requestStatus":{"success":true,"version":"v1"},"product":{"productType":"DAYTOUR","name":"1 Day Moreton Island Snorkel/Kayak & Sandboard Adventure tour","shortDescription":"Visit Moreton Bay and enjoy a guided snorkel/kayak around the iconic Tangalooma Wrecks & sandboard at the Desert on the beautiful Moreton Island","description":"<p><b>* PLEASE NOTE - $80.00 fee payable on day of departure to your guide for QPWS &amp; ferry fees</b><br></p><p>Our Moreton Island <strong>Snorkel Kayak and Sandboarding</strong> tour <br>starts with a luxury cruise across beautiful Moreton Bay to Moreton <br>Island.<br> On arrival we board our 4WD and drive off the ferry directly on to the <br>beach.<br> Moreton Island is the worlds third largest sand island of which 98% is a<br> protected National Park, with no sealed roads, 4WD is the only mode of <br>transport!</p><br><p>Travelling by 4WD along Middle Road, we pass through thick eucalypt <br>forest, featuring beautiful Xanthorrhoea (Grass Trees) up to 250 years <br>old on our way to The Desert, the home of Sand Boarding.</p><p>Sand boarding and tobogganing is an awesome fun, high speed and high <br>adrenalin activity and speeds of up to 50km/h can be reached.<br> From beginners, young children and families, to the most adventurous <br>adrenalin junkie, The Desert is the perfect place to learn, or fine <br>tune, your sand boarding skills.<br> This open sand dune is shaped every day by winds that form the perfect <br>wave.<br> Make sure you bring your camera to get plenty of impressive shots!</p><p>While a fresh picnic lunch is prepared by your guide take a moment to relax on the white sandy beach.<br> Go for a leisurely walk or swim, or take some time out to sunbake.</p><br><p>After lunch we take you on a guided snorkel around the Tangalooma <br>Shipwrecks.<br> With 15 shipwrecks located just 50m off the beach, the Tangalooma <br>Shipwrecks are home to one of Queensland’s most diverse marine eco <br>systems.<br> See a huge range of marine life including Butterbrim, blue and orange <br>banded Parrotfish, Big Eye Trevally, Wobbegong, Blue-Tang Surgeonfish <br>(Dory) and Clown Fish (Nemo)!
